Setting the Chonograph 10' away from bench the Lupua Master L ran 1030 FPS. The accuracy from this CZ is fantastic.

Nice.

Those CZ's do shoot quite well. I kick myself now for not buying several more when they were a bit cheaper.

About 0.7 for 10 rounds @ 50yds, I think that group will shrink as time goes on too.

Goodly luck!

Slg888: Great performance from your Rifle and great shooting on you part as well.
What power scope is on your CZ-455?
What are the particulars of that model?
Stock type, barrel weight, length etc?
Keep up the good work.

I shot a similar group with my 453 Varmint (that was 17hmr though) with Hornady XTP 20gr'ers, back when I first got it. Long time ago by now. I own 2 CZ's now and both will DRILL. If I miss, I know it was my fault. They are very accurate rifles.

CZ makes a great rimfire, seems like most people that have them, myself included, find them to be very accurate. Mine will print itty bitty groups all day...best $90 I ever spent. wink

You didn't mention which barrel you had attached,I own a 452 American in 22lr which is a phenomenal shooter,a friend once told me that if you look closely at the CZ 452/453 series they are Basicly a copy of the famed Winchester model 52 target rifles, they sure shoot like it

There may be similarities to the Winchester 52, as there are commonalities among most bolt action rimfires, but I seriously doubt it is a copy. There is a long history of European bolt action .22s including Mauser, Brno, and CZ, which may be related. I don't know all the details of their geneology.

I agree. I can't see the CZ 452 actions as being a copy of the 52.

I have 4 or 5 of them starting with a Model 1 BRNO. The CZ452 Lux shoots just as well with a better trigger .The BRNO 456 is the best of the bunch for my money. My #1 will shoot 10 rounds into 1" at 100 yds if I do my part on a quiet day.
