I found some of this at a local store this weekend I have never used sub sonic 22lr ammo. Is it good ammo for a range of 22 weapons? Semi auto pistols, semi auto rifles , bolt action rifles etc. Thanks for any input.

I find it about like any other cheap 22LR, some firearms will shoot it better than others as far as accuracy. It should function find in any of them.

It shoots very well in my Cooper and both CZ's and functions well in my Ruger Mk II and Colt Woodsman. Perhaps not as accurate as high-end Eley or Lapua but buying it by the case I was able to get it for $2.83 a box last case so the price is right. I use it for rimfire silhouette, squirrels and groundhogs and general plinking.

Some semi-automatics may or may not function with sub-sonic ammo.. depends on the gun and the ammo! X22LRSUBA, if this is what it is is very good stuff. I've got a bunch of PMC Moderator... highly revered in the ranks of suppressor owners (at least back when it was avail.) as it is very quite, But I have a couple of semi-auto's that will not function with it!

put me in the same boat as pugs as winchester ss hp is also my go to hp ammo. it shoots accurate in all of my .22lr rifles and pistols. yes there is more accurate ammo out of my cz but it is also 2x the cost. pugs where did you find it for $2.83 a box? i thought i did we at $3.15 a box.

thanks pugs. i got mine from sgammo. not many places carry it. it is a very underated .22lr imho. i need to buy some as i've only got around 4,500 rounds of the win ss hp. it is the only load that will shoot acceptable in all of my .22's. some will shoot other loads better but not appreciable for the non-accuracy nut, which i am of the highest level.

I really like this ammo as well, shoots ALMOST as good as the wolf MT in my cz, and really thumps the tree rats.
