I have a neighbor and friend that wants me to find a die to clean up the threads on the Crankshaft of a 2007 Yamaha Rhino. I have searched the web with no luck in finding the size and pitch of the threads. It is for the left side of the ATV, crankshaft, and any and all help appreciated. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

You might talk to a service dealer about that. Those threads are generally a non-standardized, fine pitch type unique to the application, for which no standard dies exist. It's possible a Yamaha dealer has or sells a chasing die for that purpose.
Sometimes, the air you 'let in'matters less than the air you 'let out'.

I would try motosports.com they have tap and die sets and toll free number to call they mite be able to help in this situation. I have dealt with them before and are very good.
