Haven't really seen a hole lot of reviews on the compact versions. So I thought I might fill in on the one I bought. Picked it up about a week ago bought a set of Talley lows and a Leupold vx2 3-9x40 almost went with a 2-7 but didn't. Cleaned the gun good and went to the range. Took 2 different brands of ammo federal fusion 95 grain and Remington corelokts 100 grain. Took 3 shots to get sighted in. Shot a 3 shot group with each the federal shot half inch at 100. The corelokts shot just under a inch. I bought the gun for my son for me it is kinda weird shooting cause the length of pull being so short. But it sure does shoot I'm impressed I have a 270 and a 243 Americans other than this one and they shoot good to. Tomorrow is our opening of rifle season hope he can get a shot at one he shot it this evening really good. He has been shooting the other 243 american but this one fits him a lot better.

I like the Compact that I have. Fits a bit better than you'd think with a jacket on. It's easy enough to slide a slip on pad on the rifle.

Well, at least they're accurate. The Fusions always seem to shoot well in a variety of guns.
