I don't normally post my kills on a bunch of different sites,
But I figure this one's worth spreading around a little...and I'm kinda proud of it!

This is a black phase coyote...not a coy-dog, or half dog, or anything like that.
It's rare...but it happens.
Anyway, thought I'd share.

Thats awesome! Id love to call a black coyote in one day. Whats the skinny on that stick your packin'? Nice looking rig and coyote!

Yep, the black's are extraordinary.

The one I shot a few years ago , also had a white patch under it's throat.

we did have a few running around here but have not seen one for a couple years , I know where at least 3 of them went

Very nice, I have only seen 1 of those in all my years in the field and I was just driving by. Hope to get one on the ground some day.

Seen a lot of coyotes, but never one that color. Very nice and congratulations.

What a beauty as well as a rare prize! I've seen two in my life, and neither was as totally black as yours.
