After shooting the pair on friday night, I was really hoping for a good weekend. Well Saturday was either blowing 25-30 or nothing 0-3. I made 4 stands and all were dry. Sunday I didn't even go out as the wind was 30-39. I have been busy in the shop the past 3 weeks though. Here are some calls that I finished yesterday. Of the 20 coyotes I have called in this winter 12 of them have come to my hand made calls. It doesn't get much better than that.

Very nice looking calls... High pitch?
Besides a rifle slut I'm also a handmade call slut...

I haven't put the reeds in any of these yet. Will have to take a look and see what all I have left. The one I like best is the JC LVDR-002, it has a deep raspy sound to it.

You sell those? If so, how much? I like the deep, raspy sounds too. I'm also looking for a hurt pup call. Let me know. Thanks! P.S. Greg, I think you under rate yourself.....You are an all-around slut.

I am just west of Cimarron. As far as selling any, not yet. I have a few made up and am planning on testing the water at a local gun show coming up in a couple weeks. One of these sets is going to a pheasant hunting buddy from Tulsa that has a pawn shop. I showed them to him this winter and he said he would trade a fly-rod for a set. Am going to call him and see if he has a Sage in a 4wt 7'6" or so with a Ross reel. Sounds like a fair trade to me

If you want in the field testers to see if they call critters up (AKA buy them) let me know...
I'll give an honest field report for sound and overall usability...

I tested after making the first 4 back in Dec. Turned them over a weekend, reeds came on Monday on UPS, put them in and they sounded good. Left work early on Tuesday and called one in and shot it. Of the 20 I have called this winter, 12 of them have come to one of the handmade calls. That adds a lot to the satisfaction level.
