I ran about 500 of them thru both the 223 and 22.250 combined last varmint season.. but this was at sage rats...
first off, on the subject of accuracy, they were phenomenal... much more accurate and consistent than Noslers 35 gr Lead Free bullets..
with a stiff charge of RL 7, they were over 4000 fps...in the 223...
with RL 7 and 3031, they exceeded 4500 fps in thr 22.250...
even with Blue Dot loads in both cartridges they got some impressive velocities...
shooting sage rats, that probably won't answer the question of fur damage the way you were looking for it..
I've also tried 300 or so of the 24 gr NTX in the 204, and even some of the 15.5 grain in the 17 HMR...
all the NTXs shot lights out, at both low and high velocity..
I'll be stocking up for next coming season...
