Here is a custom Bison Horn that will be on it's way to its new home this week, eh!

Bison, Mule Deer Antler insert, Mother of Pearl band, Brass studs, set of coyote tracks running up the horn and a track underneath. Clear polymer hand made toneboard.

Thanks Guys!

How does it sound? Post a sound file by recording it on your iPhone, email it to yourself, import it into windows movie maker and overlay it on the picture

there's some time and effort into the making of that bad boy. Did you make it Steve?

I finally finished this horn that was ordered last fall. I told my customer I had to do it at my leisure. Been pecking away at it all winter, but I am focusing more on calls and knives now that I've had to switch the food business to seasonal.

It sounds good. Smooth from wolf to mouse squeaks without a hitch. My calls sound good.

I wish you could post a sound file; I'd like to hear it.

I've never heard a custom made howler and am looking to get something better than my current call.

Rainshadow1: Wow great looking howler you made!
What price range would a similar unit go for in the near future?

I can't post a sound file because its already in Canada. Each board in a full one off custom like this is made by hand, so they all sound a little different. My toneboards tend to be smooth and don't use a whole lot of air to get the job done.

'If you have to ask' may or may not apply depending on what you're expecting in the back of your mind... for a high end Bison, 150 to 250 depending on the materials and complexity. A regular cow horn with a production board can be as cheap as 50. Hope that gives you an idea.
