Who hunts squirrels with dogs? I went the other day with some guys that had some great dogs. First time that I have done that since I was a kid with my dad. Its one of my favorite ways to hunt.

When I first retired, about 12 years ago, I spent part of several falls in W. Va. we hunted squirrel with Mt. curs..talk about fun..the dogs were a real blast to hunt with..sadly most of the timber has been cut to make subdivisions for yuppies from Washington D. C. and other big eastern cities...they don't stay long, but they sure screwed up some beautiful country...............

Sounds like fun. I really would like to hunt behind some squirrel dogs,someday, if my old decreped bodycould keep up.

These dogs where different breeds of curs, mountain curs ect. There is a really good article on squirrel dog in the newest Field and Stream.
