Traditions Vortek Ultra Light LDR.

Beautiful rifle and surprisingly is NOT barrel heavy. It balances out perfectly. Scope is a Traditions 4-12x40 with ballistic reticle, super clear as well. Trigger breaks clean and crisp at 48oz. Breech plug is nice as well and does work as advertised, with blackhorn209 at least anyway. Still have to try some pellet powder as well as pyrodex loose and see how it handles. Inside the gun box i was really surprised to find a bipod! I didn't think the one i ordered came with it but dang! If i had the right bag for under the stock, I could have shot off that sucker, it was really darn steady on my shooting table.

I still have some fine tuning to do with the scope.

So I wouldn't have to edit the photo and say which shots were which. These are the final 3 shots @ 100 yards with 90gr blackhorn209, cci 209m primers, 250gr powerbelt aerolite. Group measured 1 1/2" on a hot barrel.

The buck reaper camo is real cool!


6 shots that all hit in a 1 1/2" group to the low right. Adjusted to clicks to the left, 2 more shots to make sure, and then 8 clicks up and a single shot. Probably will bring it down a few clicks though so its dead center.

good lookin rig,i like the bipod included touch.

It sure isn't. Wait until you see the pictures of the stock cracked.
