Too early for that stuff!

Not sure if it's a smell or change in humidity, but you could definately feel it in the air this weekend that the seasons are fixing to change.

I still need to replace my back deck before winter hits, better get cracking.

[Linked Image] I stuffed the ends up (inside some 6" abs) I placed below the footings when I built the place ...I unwrapped the lines to make the bend then I covered them in empd flexible foam ... the black line s the "extension" I made of a hard black tubing ..i'll hookt my spray foam gun to the other end and fill it with foam as I pull the "extension" back out ...filling the pipe in a pipe in a pipe from the inside out smile

I pulled this "get ready early " years back ...its the easy street> once the outside stuff is done ... a guy can do things in and around the place at any time ..but once the snow hits ..it done /put a fork in her.....I take pics and video of my yard once I got it "set" for winter...NONE of that "where the hell!!!! did I put the dam so and so !!!" no digging and shoving snow around for me !!!! I hate that "I can't find it, stuff" lol!!!! cool

I always plan to get the yard ready before winter, somehow I always get side swiped by the kids back to school activities and just as I start getting used to all that, the snow starts falling.

Gotcha. The first boiler line pic didn't do it justice, I think. Looks like you have plenty of cushion to not snap a line and good insulation.

If the toll booth is down, I can inspect in a couple weeks. wink

We finally got summer here in Kotz. 70's and clear skies last week of so, tho it rained hard overnight. The willows are turning color tho.

It's on the way boys...

Meanwhile, I'm going ATV down the beach tomorrow looking for caribou/reindeer or moose.

Probably get et by a bear...

I should add that everyone is complaining about the heat while commenting on how nice it is.

The little F's are jumping/swimming off the seawall into the Sound on Front Street. One attached a PFD to his bike, and makes the 5 foot drop at speed. Over and over...

Me, I'm hoping the 4-legged critters are coming out to or near the beach for bug relief...
