I've known more guys to have a 700 in 243 rebarreled to 308 than vise versa, and a few 308s have become 358s.

oh, the best barrel is 7MM.

YOu could probably find someone that would just trade their 243 for your .308, that would be about $400 cheaper...OR sell yours and buy a .243//
