Our old Powershot A520 is acting funky so it needs to be replaced.
Opinions of the G15 for an everyday 'carry' camera?
Any pics?
Thanks.

Great camera. Picture quality is superb and the new fast lens gives you amazing low light images. Easy to navigate the menu and lots of adjustments on dials make it quick to make changes. On a scale of 1-10 this is as close to a 10 as you can get. Feel free to contact me with any other questions

Sam,
The G series canons are big step above the powershots IMO. I have the G7 and it takes great photos. The G15 has a great lens for low light, shoots RAW and has an articulating screen; all improvements over the G7. These cameras are built like tanks. You will not be disappointed.
