Thoughts? Is it a must have for long range shooting?

Why is it called a double u, should'nt it be called a double v?

Buy a Kestrel Sportsman and a Sig Kilo 2000. They'll do most anything the G7 will at half the price.

They are pieces of fhuqking schit, the Sig Kilo absolutely DESTROYS 'em.

The Kilo is VASTLY superior in less favorable atmospherics, much faster and a whole bunch more handy...please it'll read a bunch farther.

[Linked Image]

Quit fhuqking around and cut to the chase. Grab a Montucky Creed',chop the barrel to 20",throw 'Horn rings on it with 40MOA inclination, nestle a 6x MQ on top and feed it 147ELD's at 2600fps+.

It'll look like this Custom 20" Montucky 6XC. 20MOA EGW 1913 chopped with 'Maxima's here,but the 'Horn's are a superior route.

Modest recoil, modest noise and sensational performance. The twist, throat and COAL are all right and ready to roll turnkey. Killer Factory Fodder abounds and there are no concessions.

The reticle alone will get it to the 1100yd line, with but 2 Mils of 10mph full value wind at the same distance. It's supersonic beyond the 1500yd line.

Quit trying to "think" and simply start listenin',because you will connect farrrr more dots in that approach.

You've been led to water.

Thank me later.

Hint.

Skip the Gunwerks crap. Their customer service sucks. Look into the dig with a Kestral 5700 with AP Or wait for the new Sig 2700 with applied ballistics.

But I would run from Gunwerks.

You dont need to brag them up like that.Cuz they are far worse than that, and on both of their attempts.

Kestral with AB is the best solution unit I've used so far. Be interesting to see how AB behaves with the new Sig.

I had a client bring a G7 BR2 on a sheep hunt this year. When his ram stepped out for a shot at 287 yards, that LRF just WOULD NOT focus on the sheep. It wouldn't focus for either of our eyes no matter what we did. Luckily I'd brought my own LRF along despite him urging me to leave it behind because his was so good.... That thing was about the biggest thousand dollar POS I've ever seen, and I wouldn't buy one for 1/4 of the price.

I'm sure I'll get dogpiled now, but I have a BR2 and I'm happy with it. I haven't had any issues with it focusing or not reading a target, but I'll admit I haven't tried to range anything past about 1500 yards.

Yes. I'll admit I was diehard Gunwerks. Then I ordered a new rifle specifically for my mountain goat hunt. After getting run around after runaround and many excuses and missing a promised deadline and ten months later I got my money back. Did not even get an apology until I started calling them out on Facebook three months later. The Gunwerks guys are liars and treated me like crap after I spent a boatload of money with them. I will do whatever it's takes to keep people from buying their products and get treated the way I did.

I would like to updat a little on my earlier post regarding Gunwerks. Gunwerks actually contacted me regarding the issues I had. Come to find out there were some issues beyond their control is why the could not get my rifle built. I had ordered a TItanium action and they were having a problem with their TItanium supplier. Long story short they went above and beyond to make me happy again and were very apologetic in not being able to deliver on my original rifle build. Although it took some time for them to contact me I am very please with the end result and I would recommend them again.

Sig is coming out with a 2400 that measures everything including corelious. It's the same price as the g7. I think I would buy the sig instead
