Has any body had any real exsperience with the Opti-logic Recon range finder or any other models for that matter. An American made electronic devise is a welcome site if it is any good.

I bought an opti logic some years ago. Mine was a complete POS. I sent it back to the outfit I bought it from and got a Leica.
Now I use a G7. This is the best one I have used, by several miles. The built in ballistic software is giving me spot corrections out past 1100 yards.

I just got off the phone with the owner of opti logic. Called late (8pm central) and he was the one that answered. Nice guy and a US product at a competitive price. I will research them more though.
I own a bushnell elite 1500 thats a POS and Bushnell wants to break it off in me($150)to fix it and only give a 90day warranty... After that its another $150 if it stops reading again!
They were more interested in selling me a new rangfinder than they were about honoring their product or helping out with the repair..
Opti logic has a two year warranty and a $35 repair fee after the two years.

I know that bushnell or any of their subsidiaries will not ever get any more of my business.
