Built for me by EddyBo. Remmy 700 SA Rock 10 twist cut to 25" Wrapped by ABS McM HTG 300 WSM Just got my hands on it today and broke it in. Shot 168gr Bergers over 68gr of V560 into a itty-bitty patch of paper.

That looks like it should reach out there and touch something. Weight? Looks like you might have a tough time fitting a pair of Butler Creeks on.

Man thanks for letting me put that together for ya. I betcha it will surpise you when we stretch her out a little. Get a knob on that scope and bring her back. I bet with just a little load work it is gonna work out real well.

Mine is a fluted #4 Hart 1-10" at 24" in an HTG,LR 3.5-10x MK4 M1,Badger ring/rails and HS DBM for COAL latitude.
Don't shoot a 7WSM..................(grin)

Sup with the abs wrap..give me some info on it? I bought that blank from Mike Rock with plans to build a leightweight 300WSM for myself. I had built MShuntfish a 6.5WSM that I liked too much so we ended up doing some swapping. He ended up with all the parts I was going to use. That was only the 3rd carbon fiber barrel I had dealt with and the only one that I had to shorten, Nothing to it....except the dust. I turned the excess carbon fiber off using a vacume to catch the dust then threaded the end of the barrel. I then made a cap that matched the barrel contour for an end cap. There is a smith north of me that does wrapping but I have not used his service or started doing it myself. I like the CFR barrels thus far. Built my 338-06 with one and it is a shooter. This 300 seems to be showing some promise.
