OK, just looking for a shooter in .22LR/410...

1.) Was there a problem with the receiver mounted barrel selector breaking or not functioning?

2.) Of the three barrel releases...side, top of tang and forward of trigger guard; Is there any reason to avoid one or the other?

3.) Solid barrel contact the entire length, the welded looking piece at the end of the barrels or the barrel band; Is any one better than the other or good to avoid?

Thanks,

Jerry

i have an older one, wood stock, side selector.... works just fine.... can't speak for the newer ones, although i would recomend one with a solid wield between the barrels.... ** the combo is also being re-introduced in 22lr/410 and 22mag/20 by savage as savage model 42, but not sure when it will be available.....
