I posted this in the Lever Actions General section, but this is a better place;

I've written starline a couple times in the last few months about producing .300 Savage brass. I'm perplexed as to why they dont?...I assume the demand would be there.

I received a note today nicely written, that said they are of course backed up and wont be doing any new calibers for awhile. But even so, .300 Savage was not on the list of brass they might consider.

Is there really that much brass floating around? Or is it most of us just make it ourselves from .308?.

I wish they would reconsider.

Not sure Starline has ever made 300 Savage brass..

Winchester, Federal have. Hornady?
