I hear tell an interstate ivory ban is about to take effect, making it illegal to ship any form of ivory across state lines.
Anyone up on this?
Son of a liberal: " What did you do in the War On Terror, Daddy?"
Liberal father: " I fought the Americans, along with all the other liberals."

Somewhere close to the first of the year, there were bills introduced in 17 states across the land. New York passed theirs and California was close. I talked to some Representatives in Oklahoma and they did not support it. It did make it to committee but did not get a second. Seems sponsor was pressured by some one from OKC zoo. Their reasoning some one was going to shoot their elephants for the ivory. Nobody can understand that banning ivory will not stop the poaching of elephants in Africa. The poached ivory is not coming into the U.S. but going to China.
