I was having a hard time lately finding a good buck. Alot of small ones moving around, but not many shooters. Weird rut this year. Fortune smiled on me and this guy wandered out a hundred yards from me and I hit him with a double lung shot,he ran about sixty yards.

I have been blessed with many nice bucks through the last many years and have decided to get a shoulder mount done on this one.

I used my 112 25/06, 100 grain interlock, 4831 powder.

Thanks for the comments!. Magnumman, the interlock did exit, it was the first deer I have had it exit on. Usually my shots have been inside thirty yards, and they did not exit. The bullet went in between the ribs on the way in. I believe I chronyed them around 3400 fps out of my 26 inch tube, cannot remember for sure, would have to look it up. I have used accubonds for the last few years and thought I would try the interlock again. The deer have piled up quicker with the interlock in the past but this guy made it sixty yards, about the same as the accubonds at the same distance.
