I acquired it a while back and I'm thinking about selling it. I understand there was only 500 of these made. It is in great shape 98%+ with no box. Any info and opinions on price would be helpful. I also have a 1895GS in 45/70. Thanks.

I would think $600-700 would be realistic. You can go ahead and tell everyone it is one of 499 left since I know of one that was converted to 356 Win not too long ago. I have owned three over the years and they are great rifles.

i paid $500 OTD last spring for a LNIB with box and papers. they are indeed sweet. i'd be interested if the price is right. my son likes mine a little too much.
