I am hoping to draw a tag for unit 76 this year, im going in the later summer time to scout if anyone has any information they can share with me that would be great, i know very little about the area.
Hunted unit 76 for elk a long time ago, and a few yrs ago for deer. Have 16 elk pref pts and still thats not enough for the early rifle or muzzleloader hunt. Drew a WY elk hunt for this yr so it wont hurt so bad to just put in for another point.
What hunt are you planning for? The later hunts are very weather dependent. John
I am actually looking to hunt the archery season. I've heard some good things about this area and heard the elk are up high but no one seems to give any locations to start. Went and bought a map today to get a better look at the area
