Does anyone have any experience using a Caframo Wood Stove Fan in a canvas tent? Sounds like a good idea but it is one more thing to haul to camp. I'm not sure it's really worth it in a tent that breathes already.

load, we use wood heat as our only heat here on the ranch and have used the little gizmo fan for about 15 years now. I don't know how it would work in a tent. the perceived flow is minimal but it seems to help balance the heat in the house. we live off grid so it seemed like the thing to get for our purposes. hope this helps a little, have fun and be safe.

Deerstalker is right...it really does help flow. We heat our log cabin with a wood stove only and have used one of these fans for 4/5 years now and it works very well. I think it'd help move the heat around in a tent.

We used one last Nov during deer season up here in saskatchewan. It worked very well. They move alot of air. My tent is 14+12 and you could feel it moving the air almost the full length of the tent. You won't blow dry your hair but it sure helped dry out everything much faster.
I'll always have one in the tent. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
