I picked up a Colt 6720 a few months ago, and really like the setup. Nice and lightweight.

I would like to add a light to it, but want to keep it slim and lightweight. Are there any good options out there that are lightweight and can be used without having to swap to one of the railed forends?

Elzetta ZFH 1500 or Midwest Ind. #01 Tac. Light mount. Both attach to the front sight post so you can keep your standard hand guards. The Elzetta will have the light riding directly underneath the FSP, while the MI #01 positions the light to the side of the FSP I believe.

The Elzetta comes with different adapters so you can try it with different lights.

i got the streamlight TLR1s works ok.

GG&G Sling Thing. They sell a little picatinny strip that bolts to the opposite side. You can run a regular 6P type light and run the button with your thumb by pressing the tailcap from the end OR the side.

TWR very kindly donated a CAR type for end with a small rail bolted to it for my 6720.
