I have the SIG 226 X-five BB Co2 pistol with blow back slide feature. Accurate gun, fun shooter. When I first received it the gun needed lubrication, was dry, stripped it down and put in grease and oil.

After seeing lots of use the last 4 months I tore it down yesterday to inspect for wear, my main concern is with its pot metal construction, seems to be holding up ok. I am curious as to how much use these non-steel BB pistols will hold up for?

The nearest info I have been able to get is the pot metal made 1911 .22 rimfire guns made by outfits like Chiappa, GSG, and SIG mosquito. One guy put 2,000 rounds through his .22 and noticed some wearing near the slide stop, but functional otherwise. Anybody own one or more of these Co2 replicas, and has it held up ok after lots of use?
