Yippee, I got a goat and a Spaizizi Caribou, and my hunting partner got a goat and a Bison. Hope the only problem I have is needing to buy another freezer this winter.

no Moose ,Elk OR Bison for the family The best thing about BC is you can hunt just about all those animals in General open seasons somewhere in the province. The exception being buffs

Myself recieved nil again. Common theme. 7STW; Well at least I feel better now Mike. Our youngest and I seem to be the only ones who put in for LEH at our house and we've drawn for nil again this year. To be honest though, we put in for Vaseaux sheep and the elusive "any bull moose tag" in the same area, which is just up behind the house. They are extremely low odds (high odds???) draws though - I see the sheep was 136.5:1 this year. If either one of us could convince the other to not enter, we'd really increase the odds! Anyway Mike, I hope this finds you well and that you have a safe week. Happy Canada Day to you as well. Dwayne

Right back at you Dwayne.Hope alls well with you and your family. You know I believe I'd have a better chance at winning the Super 7 lotto than drawing a bull moose tag.Pops got one so were covered anyhow.

Drew grizzly this year. It has been five years since my last draw for grizz.
Where did you say we are going? And why are we in this handbasket?

Got a shared mature bull moose hunt in 7-10 (which is my home area), with 2 other guys. Turns out one of them will probably not hunt this year, so the 2 of us who will, essentially have our own tags. Also got a Peace River antlerless elk draw, and an antlerless mule deer in 5-13 which is reasonably close to home. My son-in-law also has a bull draw in 7-10, and he is unlikely to hunt other than in my company. I certainly can't complain, as this year has the potential to be an excellent one. One hunt I've always applied for and never been succesful with is the bison draw, so despite my own good fortune, I was a bit disheartened to hear that one of my buddies got his third bison hunt, this one being his second in two years.
