I am getting my dog trained this morning to avoid rattlesnakes. Meeting Web Parton at the local Sportsman's warehouse. I guess he is retiring and this is his last go-round. I suspect Ruby is in for a "shocking" experience! Anyone ever had this done before or gone through the trouble of doing it themselves?

Had my first pointer done by Bill Gibbons in the mid 70's. He pioneered the process. Have had several done since then and never had an issue with snakes afterwards. A buddy who trained a lot of dogs kept a snake for a while and did it himself. Said he finally lost his nerve with de-fanging them...
Too close for irons, switching to scope...
