I have seen several post on here from time to time looking for Pre 64 stocks. There is a guy on Gunbroker right now that has three or four pretty nice stocks listed. They may go for a premium but thought I would give a heads up if anyone is in search. This one is not the best but you can look at his other auctions while there. It's not me, don't know the cat. Southwind, the "338" stock he had went for a little over $600.00 ($635.00)!! EricM and I were watching that one for my 338 Alaskan.. I didn't want to go that high on the price though
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Wowzers he really had some nice stuff and I knew they would go for a premium but didn't expect that.
That sniper match is over $4500 with 3 days to go. Be interesting to see where it lands.

Both EricM and I suspected it would go over $500.00 by a bit, but I think Eric suggested it would top out a little over $600.00 and he was right. Pretty nice stocks. I don't know if they had been very professionally refinished or if they were stuffed in the box somewhere for 50 years.... My smith had some really nice "NIB" stocks he had bought in the 60's for a blow out deal. I think he bought 100 stocks and has sold them all off over the years. I think I got the last 375 H&H stock from him a couple years ago: It came in extremely handy when he put this one together for me: Try finding an all original 375 H&H stock like this and see what they want for it
