Has anyone tried these?

If they work as well as they say they do on the website they might be worth trying. From looking around, the biggest drawback seems to be noise. How critical do you think arrow noise is for elk hunting. My farthest shot on the six bulls I've taken was 34 yards (lasered). I really don't think the noise would make much difference at that distance or less. I'm looking forward to everyone's opinions.

at that little of a distance the noise shouldn't make a difference.

Your bow makes a whole lot more noise than the FOB's do when you release. Actually the flapping your fletching make as they go through the are noiser than the FOB's. They aren't for everyone, but they are a neat innovation for guys that like fall away rests. They don't work well in bows with short axel to axel measurements, due to them touching the string at full draw. Flinch
