Is anyone practicing yet, I firing a few bow bullets most every day.
I shoot about a dozen shots every other day or so all through the summer and into the fall. Think it is important to shoot regularly especially as you get older to maintain your strength. I want to be able to bow hunt as long as possible. Don't care for crossbows and want to stick with the bow as long as I can.
Started shooting Aug 1st. Ready for September!!

Been practicing all year. Some 3D shoots too. Pretty well recovered from a separated shoulder in Oct. Went to a lighter poundage bow. Getting my gear packed for a trip to Wy. end of next week.

Started practicing in January. Last deer I killed with a vertical bow was in '63 or 64. Since then I have torn rotor cuffs on both sides a couple times. Didn't think I'd get there, but I am ready. Bambi visits the food plot often enough that it looks like it will come together.

I'll shoot a couple shots the night before opener likely, with either the compound or crossbow assuming I decide to hunt.

Either one is like a rifle, just check the zero and move on.

Still not quite in shape to work the recurve yet, and just not enough time to devote to it to make it right...

Opener Oct 1.. Been shooting all year.
I used to shoot every week or so all year long. Haven't shot much this year but I started last week. I like to hang a piece of paracord for something different to shoot at besides a dot on the target. Also glue a ping pong ball on the end of the cord makes for fun shooting.

Went to the bow shop, yesterday just kicking around and shot the Elite Impulse 31. Best feeling bow that I've ever shot. I also shot the Hoyt Defiant and Mathews Halon 6. They all made me smile but the Elite was the BIG winner. It'll prob be my next bow.

Shoot about three or four times a week. Been at it for a month now. Bow season here starts September 15th.

I shoot from my Memorial Day weekend camping trip through the archery season. I shot only 40 and 50 yard shots last weekend while camping.
I shoot a couple times a week all year long. Been sitting in the antelope blind already. Just need a good one to show up....

Our early archery (bowhunting) season starts September 10th. I've been shooting regularly for a month. I've been using a crossbow for the past few years after breaking my bow hand in several places. It's back to normal now, so I'm getting back to hunting with my compound.

Was gonna flip a few from the recurve............but it's raining.

Maybe tomorrow.

At worst drive to an indoor range and shoot this weekend.

Back is kinda messed up, really don't want to go through all that effort to shoot at an away place and find out I drove an hr one way to fling for 15 mins.

Would like to ease into it by shooting a bit in the back yard first (indoor place can shoot to 50 yards- so is fun).
