Had an accidental "early release" moment this fall shooting the 40 yd target. Arrow ricocheted off a flagstone on the ground about 20' in front of me and sailed into the wild blue yonder. I figured it was out in the timber somewhere. Well 2 months later I found it! It was 8 feet up the side of the house!

that logs going to be tough eatin'. and dragging. looks pre-skinned though so thats a plus.
Might be time to find a new target area if they're hitting the house. crazy

Have you considered going outdoors to shoot?
Seems like that would have made one hell of an impact noise

Couldn't find it is understandable.

No blood trail.

Sap mebbe, but nooo blood.
Arrow was in the last protruding top log at the end of the house just under the eave. The mechanical broadhead practice point was left in the log as a nagging testament to my error.

I was shooting in an indoor 20 yard range years ago. I was at full draw and my bow blew up. We never did find the arrow.
Annoying early discharges.
Yes. One might select a different azimuth for his next practice sessions.
Dude, I would have left the arrow in there forever!!!
Beautiful Log work.

Would love to see more pics of the exterior!
Hope you had a tag for that log
