First fish on a 9-ft 4-wt presented to me at retirement, and first fish for a size 14 Aztec complements of macrabbit.

About a 13 inch Snake River Cutthroat. Due to low water the fishing was a bit slow this go around. Rather than 5 or 6 fish, most runs only held 1 or 2, and they seemed less willing to show themselves a second time if one missed the take on the first pass.
Still a great time in great country. Thank you Wyoming.

Well, allow me to offer one more first: the first to congratulate you!

I think the Snake River Fine Spots are about the prettiest trout there is. Nice Troot...

I just returned from your beautiful state.
Thanks for the success pic. Congrats, and C's for your elk, too.
A #14, huh? That's getting pretty small! Not many of those have been tied, much less fished.
(Was that a regular Aztec or an Aztec Leech? Looking closely at the pic, it almost looks like an Acrylic Scud.)

Leech.

Ah.
Good-- I've got a buddy who claims he can't catch one on a Leech noways. With Ribka's steady reports and now this, I can bang him over the head even harder!
