I just ran across an Abel Super 6N. I have a TR-2 and like it on my 4# Sage but I'm looking to get a Spey rod and would like to know if any of you have a Super 6N and can tell me your thoughts on it

I spoke with two folks at the fly shop in town when I was looking at them and one said she religiously cleans it after every trip which was a turnoff to me and the other said he has abused his for years with no upkeep.

I got turned on to galvan reels two years ago and have sold almost all of my reels to replace them with Galvans. They are awesome and the price is good.

I can't recall ever seeing a Galvan. Looks like some web browsing is in order. Thanks for the tip!

All I know is your TR-2 is junk, will you sell it?

I sent it back to Abel last winter for a new arbor nut cover and they went completely through it so I'll hang onto it for a while. BUT, if I ever decide (not!) to get rid of it I'll let you know!
