So, wife and I did the drive across the plains and provinces from Idaho to remote NW Ontario. This was our 21st year.
The fishing was fabulous as usual, and this year we did a bit more fly fishing.
We stayed for two weeks and for the second week we picked up our son in Kenora Ontario, he had flown in from his hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska for the week.
The kid is a helluva fisherman with the flyrod, catching pike, walleye, perch and smallmouth all on the crawfish patterns.
I managed to fake a few with the fly as well..

Great time...a few pics from our holiday.

Wow, my kind of fishing.. Warm water and a fly rod.. Great photos.. That style of fishing sure beats trout fishing..
