Can .264 Winchester Magnum brass be made out of 7mm Remington Magnum brass. If it can, do you just run the 7mm stuff into a .264 Winchester Magnum die? Or, what is the process. A buddy has two pre 64s both in .264 Winchester Magnum and he wants to load down, say a 140 grain slug going 2700 feet per second or so. I tried looking at all the reloading shops online that I know of and not a one has any brass left. So, again the question, can you take 7mm Remington Mag brass and size it down to .264 Winchester Magnum brass. Thanks ... Tom Purdom

Yup. Lube the necks well and size in the FL .264 sizing die, square up the case mouths in your case trimmer and you're done. I mark mine with a colored marker for a quick visual differeniation from 7mm Mag. Ward
Yep, again. Just one pass through the 264 die.

I am pretty sure I saw some 264 brass at Sportsman's Whse in Boise a couple weeks ago. They might be able to get you some if headstamp is of any concern.
