I see several references to using this bullet in the 338 Winchester Mag with as much as 78gr of Re19 and magnum primers delivering over 2800 fps.

First of all, anyone using Re19 in their 338 Win Mag?

Secondly, what should we expect with a 75gr load?

Thanks,
Ted
Ted,
78 grains would be a very bad idea. So would 75. I don't think you could get 78 grains in the case with that 225gr bullet.

I don't know who you've been listening to, or what they were smoking, but it's time to stop paying attention to anything they have to say:

Saw those loads on two different sites. They sounded really hot.

Thanks much for the heads-up!
