The 375 raptor site was down earlier. It seems to be centered on fast burning powders. Was interested if anyone was using RL15/4064 types of powders.

Reloder 10x and 1200-R were used alot on the load data from the website. I have heard 1200-r is fairly temp sensitive, so I have been looking for other options.

Do you have a bullet in mind?

I have a 18" mostek barrel on my tikka. I used Starline 358win cases.

With Reloder 10x and 270gr speers, I was getting 2200fps. The barrel was new so my speeds may have changed by now.

With a 190gr Maker Rex, CFEBLK got me to 2600fps.

CFEBLK got me to around 2450fps with the 230gr Hotline VLR4. I think I need a slower powder for this bullet.

For bullets lighter than 190gr, you could try accurate 1680, sw blackout. I am also trying N120

I am currently testing accurate 2200, 2015, and x-terminator.

I also have 260gr accubonds that I will test. And some 235 speers are in the mail. I might try those 137gr shock hammers, too.

Anyway, if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

To those curious about the 375 Raptor, it's not exactly like a 375/08. The case has been shortened to handle longer nose bullets. This helps when shooting heavy subsonic bullets. If I remember correctly, I think the designer wanted to be able to shoot 350gr SMKs. I don't think they make that bullet anymore.
