Any 6.5x284 shooters out there? - 07/29/07
I just picked up a 6.5x284 a couple of weeks ago off of the classifieds and would be quite interested in any loads you fellas might like to share. I just got all my dies and brass together. So far I've loaded up some H4831sc with 120 TSX's, some 95 Vmax's with Varget and some 120 TSX's and Nosler 140 Partitions with Ramshot Magnum. I've also have some Superior Ammo with 140 NP's to try with it but factory stuff is like hen's teeth around here.
This is a hunting rifle but I'd be interested in any load that was a particularly sweet one for ya. The rifle is a Montana Rifleman barreled action in a laminated walnut stock. Not a lightweight and not too heavy. I think the tube is 24" and is just about broke in, if I understand it's history correctly. It has a nice light trigger and hope it will be a shooter.
