I have heard that this workbench from Sam's Club makes a good reloading bench:

Does anybody here actually use this as a reloading bench? I went and checked it out. It's a nice table for the money, but does it function well as a reloading bench? What do you think of the dimensions?
If I can stand and work a press without bending and it has the strength, go for it.
Sears has their heavy ones on sale for $189.00.
Some are much cheaper.
Some have drawers in them, too.
Looks like nice bench, but I'd figure out a way to attach it to a stud or two to really lock it down.

I have one and love it. Here's a room with several of them set up.

The size is 25" X 72" so, if your house is foreclosed, you could just move it out. smile
I've got 2 of them from Sam's. The only difference in mine is that mine have 4 legs and not 6. Otherwise, they're the same. I put 1/2 ac plywood around the 2 sides and the back & finished it off. This allows me to put removable shelving for storage. I wanted something nice since it was gonna be in the house. These fill the bill nicely. Bear in Fairbanks

It makes an excellent reloading bench. I put one together for my buddy in his reloading shed and it works great. I plan to buy a couple for myself.
One thing we did you might think about doing is that we mounted our presses on the RCBS accessory plates and clamped them onto the table with C-Clamps. This is not permanant but allowed us to move the presses to different spots on the table to figure out exactly where they work the most efficiently before we started drilling holes in the top. On his old table he had mounted one of the presses in a spot that just wasn't as convenient as it seemed at first. Having them moveable lets you sort out exactly how you want things and the presses work just fine firmly clamped down....................................DJ
I used to design factory assembly and service work centers.
There are some sturdy benches out there for under $100 and you can add a maple or 1.5 inch HD particle board top if you want.

I am building a new shop for myself right now, and shopping.

Some of the electronics benches are anti-static.
You don't need to get that elaborate, but do avoid Formica type tops and do ground yourself and the bench to avoid sparks when working with gunpowder.
