I currently have a large supply of IMR 4064 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it in the 30-30 Winchester with either 150 gr or 170 gr bullets. I realise that there are better powders out tther for the 30-30, but it's hard to find anything in my neck of the woods currently, and I want to get the most out of what I have on hand.
I've had as good results from IMR 4064 as I have from another old standard, IMR .30-30, in both my Marlin 336 and my Winchester 94.

With a 150 grains Sierra JFN bullet, I use 31.0 grains of IMR 4064. With the 170 grains bullet I use 29.5 grains.

Works for me. Play around with some loads and I'll bet that IMR 4064 will give you very good satisfaction.

4064 will indeed work well, I don't like it as much as RL15 but its still a fine powder for the 30-30.

4064 was factory choice for loaded ammo in the 30/30 for a long time...
With 170s in my 30-30s, about the only bullet I use, 4064 is one of the two powders I choose when I have a choice.
Klik, what charge are you using with 170's?
32.0 grains
I have excellent results in my Win 94. I use 32.0g w/ 150g Winchester PowerPoint bullets. I killed my largest deer ever last year with that load.

I'm going to be using the Hornady FlexTips 160g bullets this year. Varget was finicky in my rifle and at my second session, I discovered 31.5g IMR 4064 was perfect-1 1/4" groups (I have a side-mount scope on my 94)--not bad for a lever-action.

I'm going to try 3031 as well later, b/c I have run out of time. The 3031 printed really high, but it's got a different pressure curve.
