I am planning to load up some 110 grain TTSX in my 270 Winchester.

Does anyone have suggested loads, pressures, velocities to share?

I am especially interested in Varget or RL15 options.
Well I have a load for 270 win 110gr TSX. Using 57grs. Reloader 17 .030" off the lands and it shoots 1/2" 3 shot groups at 100 yards. I have not chrono the load yet.
Nice--that baby ought to be singing! I'd be interested in your chrono readings when you get them.

58.8g of Norma N204 with a 110 GS-HV will drill little ones at 3387fps.

most of the bullets mentioned were designed for the 6.8 rem spec with a spec 2 chamber 1/11 four groove twist so if a 270 win has a 1/10 or 1/11 they should work ok a powder i would try would be rl17 it loves lots of room and light bullets
What about using Varget class powders?

My feeling is that Varget and RL15 are a touch on the fast side.I think your on the right tract. But a 4350 class burn rate powder would serve you better.JMHO.
I have tried the 110 TTSX is a suped up 270 STW.I was not happy with the accuracy.

The 110g GS-HV out of my 270 WCF on a 150 lb hog at 130 yards.
What goes in.

Must come out.

The TTSX is almost as good as the GS-HV.Im thinking the performance is similar. The GS-HV will give deeper penatration and most likey shoot tighter groups.
Either will DRT just about any animal.

off the top of my head 44gns of varget would be a good start load or 48 grn of h380
I loaded it a bit in my last .270, I used H4831 and IMR 4350.

R17 should work with it as well.

i know that 90 ,100 and 110 have been around for ever but most of the new one are for 6.8 special nosler accubond 100 and 110 were designed to preform at 6.8 velocities so they could over expand at 270 win velocities the 6.8 only pushes 100 at about 2650 fps
I used 63 grs of H4831 for about 3,200 from a 22" tube IIRC.
I'll be using the TTSX if it shoots accurately enough, which I expect that it will.

I see that Varget has a max load of 48 grains, whereas RL15 is listed as high as 53.5 in one manual.

I was hoping to get within 100fps of top velocity but do it with 10 grains less powder (i.e. Varget at 48 grains). That gives a bunch less recoil and blast.

Maybe I should look into RL17 though. Thanks for all the replies so far.

I'm not sure an Accubond can actually "overexpand," can it? It might get BIG, but would the bonding still hold?
I couldn't get this bullet to shoot worth a darn in my bdl with IMR 4350. I did seat it out a little farther and the groups got a little smaller but not what I had hoped for.
