ive tried several loads in my mod 7 350 but have only killed game w/ a couple of them and havnt tried others that ide like to. my question is if i wanted to build ONE load to do it all from coyotes and whitetails to moose and brown bears what would it be.

(a) 225 tsx

(b) 225 nos partion

(c) 225 woodliegh RN

or perhaps something i havnt listed. i wont be workin on it untill deer seasons over now but hopfully i have good results w/ the 220 speer hotcor im trying this year. thanks in advance!
If you're putting big bears on the menu, I'd go with the 250 gr. Speer HC at around 2,400 fps. My old load data had me at 54.0 gr. of H4895 for 2,400 fps, definitely MOA accuracy.

Alternative: 225 Nosler at 2,650 would be very good.

The looong 250gr. Speer bullet had a great cod - .446. Every chart I ran basically showed the 250gr. bullet at 2,400 fps to be the same trajectory as the 200 gr. at 2750. In the end, there just wasn't much reason to go with anything else as an all-around bullet.
chances are ill never be able to hunt big bears in my life, just thought ide throw it in there lol
Nothing wrong with any of your choices for hunting most anything. My preference would be for the Partition as they seem to shoot well for me and performance on game has been near perfect for a lot of years.
At the modest velocity of the 350 Mag or 35 Whelen, Hornady's, Speers, etc., have been every bit as effective on game as the premium bullets.

The 200 Barnes would be a better option, IMO, than the 225 TSX. I'd probably opt either for it or the Partition.
no bears would have the 200 horny sp's out front for half the cost.... 22 and 215m's work. plenty accurate in my classic....

FWIW

200gr TSX and a stiff load of Benchmark or TAC will cover all bases.....

my comprehension skills are lacking, lol, what exactly are you saying here
is it the numbers or letters that have you looking backwards? wink

The 225 TSX shoots just as flat as the 200 TSX.

I have a friend who used to believe in the 250 Speer HC until one came apart on a bull elk. He was shooting a .35 Whelen, but same difference.
Mule Deer, I don't think the model 7 magazine would be able to handle the 225 TSX and a case full of powder. Dunno, maybe with TAC?
Yes, with TAC it will--and TAC is turning out to be an ideal powder for the .350. Very accurate and top velocities.

Yep standard cup & core will do that from time to time. I agree the 225 TSX is an excelent choice
When I had a 350, ran Sierra 225s for deer, Partitions for elk load, today: I would run 225 TSX and Partitions for hunting.

158 JSP/HP bulk RPs for cheap plinking, not that accurate, but enough to vaporize milk jugs w/water at 200 yds all day wink

I ran IMR4895 and I think 57/4320 but I'd go w/what guys above suggest as there are likely better powders now.
