I've tried it in a few cartridges and at around 70 degrees got the velocities they list, with good to great accuracy. But it isn't one of Hodgdon's Extreme line, and is pretty temperature-sensitive.
I'm shooting it in a 6-284 Stiller, and a Cooper 6.5-284. 95 VLD's in the 6-284 and 130 VLD's in the 6.5. Good velocity in both, very good accuracy and it flows through powder measures very consistantly. I haven't tried it in any others but I am happy with it in the X-284's
6mm, I may give it a run in my 6-06 and 6.5-06, nearly identical capacity as your 284s. Sounds like it will work on the 06 case as well. Have you ran it against R17?

Damn. I wish I'd read this yesterday. Probably wouldn't have loaded up all those rounds with H100V last night!
Turned my 6mm into a real good shooting gun with 95 NBT's. Went from an OK shooting gun to one I would be hard pressed to get rid of. Velocity is running 3215 from a 22" barrel.
I have used it with very good success in my .257 remington with 100 grain TTSX. As to being temperature sensitive, I saw no discernible change in accuracy when shooting the max. load at 70 degrees and the same load at 28 degrees.
