Anyone here ever worked up a load for a 30-338 win mag? I have RL-19, IMR 4350, and 4831sc on hand. Would like to shoot 160-180 grain bullets.

Mine likes 66 gr IMR 4350, CCI 250 Magnum Primers, neck sized Hornady 338 cases, Nosler 180 Partition, can't remember OAL as I am at work without my info. Great shooting load.
That is very similar to the load one of the Army target guys used to load except I believe he shot 190 grs. Won some big shoots with it also years back.
Also the current Sierra Manual (binder) has loads listed for the 30-338.

I shoot 74 grains of RL-22 behind a 180 Sierra with a 215M Federal primer. This load will only shoot an inch in my rifle but the velocity is much higher then IMR 4350. This load combo has taken many elk over the years.

Mine likes 75gr/H-4831sc with 165gr AB and 73gr/H-4831SC with 180gr Partition and it has 1/11 twist barrel.
