Just started shooting rifles more - I don't reload (yet...) I know to save the brass - but should I save the cartridge sleeves and boxes? Are they worth anything?

Just went thru a class and have 7 empty 308 Federal Gold Medal Match boxes and the corresponding 14 sleeves. I wondered why as I added these to the pile of all of my other rifle boxes. Hoarder tendancies!

You might want them to house your reloads. Just stick a label on them identifying the contents.

The law used to be for taking ammunition on an airplane trip you had to have it packed in the factory boxes, in your luggage. They might come in handy for that some day.

I keep some around because I carry a box in the vehicle I'm using during that day but not always a 50 or 100 round big plastic one. The little red belt holder things I like to fit in the pocket of the soft case.
