Seeking input on barnes 145 gr LRX. More specifically, I am thinking about running these in a 7mm saum. Let me know what your experience have been with these pills.

I have had good luck running ttsx 120's and 140's out of my 7mm-08. Shot very well and easy to work up loads for them.

Great bullet. In my 280 AI, they shoot within 1/2" of the 140 ttsx. Shot a few deer with them. Not sure that the performance is any different from the ttsx (under 100 yards) but it was excellent performance. If anything they open even faster than the ttsx. Accuracy is excellent as well.

I tried it in my 284 and it did not do so well, you are not going to gain much compared to the 140 ttsx.

They shoot VERY well in my 7RM.



Pulled out of an elk shot at 300yds.

They shoot awesome in my custom 7saum. 145gr LRX 57.0grs H4350 3115fps. I have shot it out to 750yds.

Thanks for the input guys. Now I have a starting point. I will prob have to give them a try.
