looking high and low for this powder. All the locals are out and can't find any on the usual online places. Wonder if Hodgon has stopped making it? Would appreciate any info on where I might find some.

Sportsman's Warehouse gets one or two pounds in every other month here. I check there 2-3 times a week or I have to order off Gunbroker and pay Hazmat fees.

I found a pound at the local sportsmans warehouse today, first I've seen in months.

Check Powder Valley's site periodically. May not be there now, but I believe they had some listed in the past month or so.

SWH Albuquerque had some this week as well.

Powder Valley had some two weeks ago. I picked up 16lbs. Was sold out in a few hrs.

I've got both H1000 and Retumbo I have been using. Find that Retumbo is only a bit slower and Cabelas in Lone Tree has Retumbo on the shelf. Haven't seen any H1000 in a while.

What are you guys using the H1000 for?

7mm STW

300 WM and 264 WM

I the absence of H1000, I have been using RS Magnum in the 264 and the STW with heavy bullets.

A 130 gr Accubond, CCI 250 primer, and 71 gr of Magnum has become my go to load for the 264.

I use it mostly in my 7 Mag with a 175 LR AB. I also used R25 &7828, but in this rifle 1000 gave the best accuracy and velocity.

I use H-1000 in my 300 Win. Mag. Works great with good speed.

Now, I just started using it in my 7mm Rem Mag. trying to find a good load for it.

H1000 in my 243 Win with 105's.

Gonna try H-1000 in my .375 RUM.

With what bullet(s)? If you do, I would be interested in your results. I came across a couple lbs. of this a few months back, though was thinking of my 300 RUM at the time.

Wandered into a little shop in San Saba, Texas this afternoon on the way to a friends 1500 yard range. There on the shelf were 10-1 Lb cans of H-1000. I thought about you lefty when I saw those. Tried to figure out if USPS would actually check the box. Then figured the link would be good enough for now!

I've been looking for H1000 for a long while. I've picked up a couple pound cans but walked into the LGS this last thursday and they had 8# jugs on the shelf. Price was almost $40 more than the last 8# I bought though.

About came unglued when I walked into the local sportsmans and saw some. It hasn't been on the shelf here in probably a year.
