I have conidered this the ultimate 30 mag, ever since the 375 Ruger was introduced. It should offer identical performance to the 300 Wea in a 30-06 length action.

I saw this cartridge mentioned in an Outdoor Life article as being chambered by Montana Rifles.

Has anyone heard anything else?

Talk on the AR forum of 338-375, 30-375 and even 6.5-375 all based on the 375 Ruger case.

..........If ever marketed, imo it should be named simply the,,,,,300 Ruger.

I figure it's pretty much the reincarnation of the old 30 Newton. If my figuring is right that would make it over 100 years old by now....
