Good afternoon folks. I picked up some 120gr ttsx for my 284 but am having a hard time finding any load data. I'm just looking for a starter load to get going in the right direction. I have a few powders on hand, but access to more if needed.
Thanks
Jim
Hodgdon, Barnes and Nosler sites all have good data. Good bullet choice.
Here is the Barnes link. The TSX data is interchangeable with the TTSX.

I should've been more specific. Does anybody have any load data with rl17 or 4350?
I use Vit N150 or N160 with mine, most accurate powder in mine.

120 gr ttsx oal 2.900

IMR 4350 starting load 54.5gr max 58 gr

RL 17 starting load 52 gr max 55.5 gr

This is updated data that Barnes sent me a few years back.
Freddy,
Much much thanks. Just what I needed!

Lhead71,
Ct I see......where abouts? RI border myself. I was loading 120 BT over vit 150, and a I have a few lbs. Starter load?

In my 284, 53 of R17 boots a 140-gr TTSX out of a 23" tube at 3100 fps; you can extrapolate some to your 120.
I'm near the RI border just more south than you. Nearer to the shore.

Starting load V N 150 50.0 gr gives right around 3000 fps.
