I have a box of Hornady 162 gr Amax's I was wanting to run through a 7x57. Looking for a load to use in it without having to do a lot of experimenting since I don't have a huge supply of the bullets.

Powders I have on hand are RL 15,19, and 26 along with Varget, IMR 4350 and H4831SC.

Have Nosler brass and Winchester and Federal primers on hand.

Thanks for the help.

I'd start with I-4350. Too bad you don't have RL-17, or I'd suggest it too.

IMR-4350 and H-4831SC.

What weight range should I be looking at with those suggested powders? Thanks.

Would 45 grains of the IMR 4350 be a safe place to start?

Yes and do you own a chronograph?

Keechi, if you have a modern 7x57 you should have no issues using 7mm-08 starting data. For a '95 Mauser, not so.

I just bought a chronograph this afternoon. The rifle is a BRNO 21.

Nice. I think I'd hold off on the 7-08 data and stick with 7x57, why beat up a classic? I've used H4831 most of the time but in a No.1.
